class of; my baby is graduating? what?
how did we go from diapers, scraped knees, loose teeth, field days, football games, homecoming dances and now senior year?
here is a timeline for you
beginning of junior year you should begin seeing current seniors posting senior pics. #seniorsunday check these out. see what you love, what you find interesting and different about the photographers in your area.
early spring of junior year reach out to photographers your interested in. ask about pricing, when to schedule and their process.
summer going into senior year schedule your session late summer/early fall. no later than mid- october
once session is complete use your photos. with most photographers you will receive rights to your images. this is great because you can use them the entire year. what about all the end of season slideshows, programs announcements? use your senior photos. graduation announcements and party invitation too. use your photos as much as you can.
yearbook be sure to find out from your photographer their process of submitting to your yearbook. do you have to do it or will they? hopefully they will to ensure the yearbook receives the highest quality image.
late fall senior year photo for yearbook are general due no later than beginning of december.
spring of senior year party planning time. graduation is right around the corner. look at sites like https://www.minted.com to find graduation invitation and announcements as well as thank you cards and decorations. most sites will be running specials and discounts by early spring (march-april) there are also great gifts you can create using photos as well.
