I have known Hauck sisters for several years now. I can remember seeing them as teenagers running around volunteering for the heart mini. I recall wanting my children as high schoolers to be the kind of people they were. Always willing to help, kind, respectful and smiling almost always. I became a little obsessed with their family. Jen and Mike have a marriage I aspire to. They are the kind of people who are always in your corner. I had been shooting headshots for Jen for years. I had worked with Mike and the Evendale Fire Department not to mention all 11 of my heart mini races. We know one another. When Jen reached out about Sam and Evan’s engagement session, I couldn’t wait to capture their Miami Merger. Not my first and more than likely not my last on the Oxford grounds. We had so much fun running around campus in June.

Vail, Colorado was their chosen location to be married the following summer. Joking with Jen I said “my camera and I travel”. After doing weddings in Massachusetts, Ohio, Florida, Jamacia I can shoot anywhere. Jen said “really” I said “of course, when you’re ready let’s talk.” We talked and talked and talked, it was decided. I was going to Vail, Colorado the summer of 2022. The rest is…well you’ll see. The rest is history captured in a stunning place, with the most amazing people by a photographer; me and her daughter; Gracie Jane. This wedding is a work of art, pure fun, happiness, and love.
