Gracie.
We grabbed a Saturday morning in-between our crazy schedules and planned her session. We get to the first spot, we were both in funky moods…I was trying to find my groove. She was trying to just be a senior, not the photographers daughter. We left the first spot and headed to the Pendlton area in downtown Cincinnati. I give her a little direction. I point my camera click and look at the shot. That’s when I lost it. How is it the little 7 lb. 14 ounce baby girl I held in my arms is now sitting in front of me getting ready to enter her senior year in high school. My eyes welled up with tears then spilled down my cheeks. I looked at her she turned away from me and said “you can’t do that”. She was now crying too. We managed to pull it together (I still don’t know how). We split her session. She wanted some Cincinnati, some Columbus and some Cape Cod. She loves coffee, donuts, ice cream, cookies, sushi, traveling, rock climbing, art, positive people any kind of adventure. She is confident, strong, compassionate, inspiring, and unique. She knows exactly who she is right now and what she’s capable of. She is ready for her future. She is not afraid of doing hard things, she cries when it’s needed and celebrates every win. She loves her family unconditionally, just as we love her. She is the most gorgeous human being and i love her with every I am. Our Gorgeous Gracie.
